Founded in 1873, Morgan Park Academy (MPA) is a co-educational, college preparatory, independent day school dedicated to preparing students for college and inspiring them to strive for excellence and realize their full potential, both academically and as individuals. We are located in the Morgan Park residential area of Chicago in Cook County. Families come to MPA from communities throughout Chicago, the southern and western suburbs in Cook, DuPage, Kankakee, and Will counties, as well as northwest Indiana. Our highly motivated faculty is complemented by a stimulating, time-tested curriculum. We have some of the smallest class sizes among the top schools in Illinois.

After & Before Care (ABC) Program:
The After and Before Care Program (ABC), is an extended day care program that services Preschool thru Middle School students during non-school hours. This program is provided as a service to parents and is staffed by MPA faculty and other qualified persons. The approximate pupil-teacher ratio is 10:1 for PK and K, and 15:1 for Lower School and Middle School.
In a student-centered environment, instruction in language arts, mathematics, science, social studies and foreign language is integrated with classes in art and music that meet twice weekly. Daily physical education is also included.
Through a wide variety of learning experiences, we are also able to provide the child with many opportunities to learn about differing cultures, understand the world in which we live, participate in fine and performing arts activities and develop co-ordination, flexibility and muscular skills.
All students take physical education and may participate on athletic teams in soccer, basketball, wrestling, tennis and softball.
In addition, there are many clubs, including Middle School Band, Student Council, National Junior Honor Society, B.A.B.C. (community service club), Newspaper, Chess Club, Science Club and French Club.

The Paintbrush, opened in 2005, is a children's art studio owned by sisters Melanie and Mindy Apel in Lakeview on the North Side of Chicago, Cook County, IL. At The Paintbrush, kids do more than just paint. Starting at 18 months old, kids learn about famous artists, listen to music and create their own inspired works of art and projects inspired by the artists' styles. The Paintbrush offers a selection of classes geared to different ages along with workshops and summer camp. Classes are ongoing, so kids can join anytime.
The mission of The Paintbrush is to introduce young children to the wonderful world of art. The main goal is to teach kids to love art and have an understanding of the artists they study and whose works inspire their own creations.

The Russian School of Mathematics (RSM) was created in Boston 15 years ago. Today, RSM has over 6,000 students in more than a dozen branches located in 5 states. This fall, we are very excited to be opening a Russian School of Mathematics in Naperville, IL, just 30 miles west of Chicago. RSM provides a unique, award-winning after-school mathematics enrichment program, based on the best practices of advanced math schools in Russia and Europe and adapted to the U.S. educational environment. We teach students at all levels - elementary school, middle school, high school and home school. We offer a whole academic year program, with weekly classes and homework.
The RSM program was developed based on classical traditions of systematic math education. Our goal is to help children build a solid foundation for future success in taking the SAT and college mathematics. Delphi Academy of Chicago is an independent, co-educational, non-sectarian day school that offers a preschool through to eighth grade program. The campus is located in Lombard, a suburb just 30 miles west of Chicago. Delphi Academy of Chicago is one of several schools in the Delphi Schools Network, a group of independent schools sharing uniquely developed curriculum and teaching methods. Children may be enrolled as soon as potty trained. North Park Elementary School (NPES) was founded in 1980 to create an affordable alternative for parents who wanted to provide top quality kindergarten through to eighth grade elementary school education within the City of Chicago in Cook County.
