French Courses in Rouen, France
Nacel International, Rouen:
Nacel International offers French courses to students from all over the world in our French language school in Rouen, the capital of the Normandy region in Northern France. Our French courses are suitable for students with beginner, intermediate or advanced levels of French and include intensive French courses, business French classes, exam preparation and French cuisine courses which allow students to combine French language learning with French cooking courses. Our courses are open to students over the age of 16 and are available all year round. The courses can be taken from one to four weeks. Nacel International also has another French language school in Lyon in East-Central France.
French courses offered by Nacel International in Rouen:
French courses in Rouen cover French lessons, business French courses and social and cultural programme. French classes in Rouen last for 45 minutes.
General French Courses:
The student can choose between two formulas to learn French in France:
- Semi-intensive French course:
15 hours/week (from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm and from Monday to Friday). Classes of 8 students maximum.
- Intensive French course:25 hours/week (from Monday to Friday 9.30 am to 3.30 pm. Classes of 8 students maximum.
Dates: Any Monday during the year.
French Language & Discover the French cuisine:
The student can choose between two formulas to learn French in France and discover French culture:
- Gourmet French:
Introduction to both the language and the region. The morning program (from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm) consists of our French course and the afternoon program consists of visits to local producers of regional specialities with 3 evening gourmet meals. The Gourmet French program takes place on the first Monday of the month throughout the year. Classes of 12 students maximum.
- French and Cuisine:
This course combines French language learning with the art of cookery. Lunch is included for three of the 5 days. Classes of 12 students maximum. The courses start on the first Monday of the month from September to May.
Exam Preparation Courses:
Exam preparation courses for four types of French exams are available in the French School in Rouen:
- DELF and DALF (diplomas meant to assess the linguistic competence of a candidate). They are delivered by the Education ministry.
- TFI (placement test in French for non- French-speaking candidates for a professional environment).
- BULATS (diagnostic test of language proficiency in European languages).

Come and study and practise French for 50 hours per week and stay at the beautiful Château Correnson situated in Saint-Geniès-de-Comolas a village in the Rhône Valley, at the crossroads between Provence and Languedoc. Nearby are Avignon (airport, TGV train station, 20 minutes away by car), Châteauneuf-du-Pape (10 minutes), Nîmes (40 minutes) all of which are known for their festivals, Roman vestiges or vineyards.
The property is surrounded with stone walls and also comprises a vineyard outside the walls. A local wine grower makes our own wine (Côtes du Rhône and Lirac appelation).
Our original method and our programmes meet your needs. Our philosophy of teaching : to make the communication a pleasure for all the students who trust in us and to associate the French language with a human positive experience. We know that the French learning constitutes for you an enormous personal investment for you. We would like to express you all our admiration and respect.
Our predecessor transformed the château into a hotel-restaurant. Before 1989, it used to be a wine estate. The rectangular courtyard, with a fountain, a well and a fish pond, is surrounded by distinct buildings.
