Nacel International offers French courses to students from all over the world in our French language school in Rouen, the capital of the Normandy region in Northern France. Our French courses are suitable for students with beginner, intermediate or advanced levels of French and include intensive French courses, business French classes, exam preparation and French cuisine courses which allow students to combine French language learning with French cooking courses. Our courses are open to students over the age of 16 and are available all year round. The courses can be taken from one to four weeks. Nacel International also has another French language school in Lyon in East-Central France.

All teachers are French and highly qualified with many years experience teaching students. They are very helpful and a real support for the students. The number of students per class is a maximum of 8 - 12.

Our French school in Rouen is a family-run institute and offers a winning combination to those wishing to learn or to improve their French language skills. Our school is based in a light and airy modern building in a pleasant residential area. You will find a café and bistro restaurant, a bakery, a pharmacy, a supermarket and other shops in a small but well-equipped shopping centre nearby (10 min from the town centre).
Activities:
Learn French in France and have fun at our French language school in Rouen! Visits are organized by the French school in France: companies and institutions, cinemas, theatres, local producers. Typical half-day activities during the week: visit to Rouen museums, visit to local radio, visit to Paris, sport activities and more. Students are responsible for any fees related to these optional activities.
Rouen is famous for its history (medieval city), beautiful landscapes, its fine regional
cuisine and of course the friendly welcome offered by the people. This North-West French
city is in the capital of Normandy and the Seine-Maritime department. The city, also known
as the ‘Ville aux cent clochers’ dear to Victor Hugo, has preserved much of its historical
centre which is now largely composed of pedestrian streets.
As you walk through the historical centre, past half timbered houses, discover architectural treasures for example Gothic monuments like the Notre Dame Cathedral, St Ouen Abbey, Saint Maclou Church and the Palais de Justice or Renaissance style monuments like the Gros Horloge, Saint Maclou Ossuary. Or you can also follow in the steps of Richard the Lion Heart, Joan of Arc, Pierre Corneille or Gustave Flaubert, some of the many characters who have been part of Rouen’s history. Rouen is a great place to learn French in France.
French Host family (recommended): single room; half board on weekdays, and full board on weekends and bank holidays. Our French host families are carefully selected and offer a warm welcome to the French language school's students.
