Altiplano Training:
Altiplano Training offers a unique French summer school for children and adults in Mens in the south east of France. Prefaucon Farm provides a stimulating, and friendly and fun environment which allows you to develop your linguistic ability. After your French lessons you will put what you learn into practice by living and eating with a French family, and learning about the French way of life.

FRENCH LANGUAGE SUMMER SCHOOL

The most effective way to learn a language is to immerse yourself into the lifestyle and the culture of the country. This 5-day immersion course (6 nights accommodation) allows you to do just that and you will learn and develop your French language skills during your stay. Our French Language Summer School is based in Prefaucon Fram which is a working farm looked after by Sophie and Jean-Louis. Jean-Louis is the gardener while Sophie welcomes guests and cooks them very good local food while also looking after 100 ewes. After your French lessons, you will have the chance to put your newly learned language skills and vocabulary into practice by living and eating with a French family and learning about the French way of life.

Our French Language Summer School caters for both children and adults. Children are looked after by their own French language day. They learn to use the French language naturally through a carefully designed programme of activities and classes with local children. Adults are welcome to help out on the farm in addition to their French language classes! Or they can follow their own programme of biking, horse-riding, paragliding, walking or wind-surfing among other enjoyable activities. There is also a wide variety of craft courses available that can also complement your French lessons.

Courses in pottery, felt-making, watercolour painting, painting furniture, organic cookery, medicinal plants and “green” construction techniques are all possible: all in French!

Situated in the friendly city of Arles, in the center of Provence, we offer a special 2 week course combining intensive French instruction (30 hours), cooking classes, wine tasting, excursions, and many a lively evening with friends around the dinner table. Accommodations are provided in our bed and breakfast, located right in the historic center, an easy 10 minute walk from the train station. You can put your French to use right away with cooking classes, wine tastings and more. And don't be surprised if local shop-keepers join in to help you too!
Intensive French & Cooking:

Our French Language study for food lovers is a marvelous introduction to France and its beautiful language. Every morning you'll have 3 hours of instruction in small groups (no more than 6). Each day either lunch or dinner will be included, with our friends and colleagues joining us to encourage conversation.
