Our English Language School offers courses to help prepare you for university study as well as offering general English classes all year round. Bath Spa University offers students the opportunity to improve their English language skills in the four areas of listening, speaking, reading and writing.

Accommodation options available for English Language students are homestay with a local host family and campus accommodation.

Courses:

General English courses are available from September to June. Students can choose to study for a minimum of 2 weeks and a maximum of 47 weeks. IELTS option is available 4 hours per week during the period from March to June. Students can take either 21 or 15 hours of classes per week. The maximum class size is 12 so all students can be assured of personal attention. You must be at least 18 years of age to apply for this course and must also have elementary level English or above. A Certificate of Attendance is given to all students on completion of their course.

English Language Summer School Courses can be taken for a minimum of 2 weeks and a maximum of 6 weeks. All students receive a Certificate of Attendance.
