General English Courses for Adults
Course Duration: Minimum 1 week
- General English – Standard (20 lessons / 15 hours per week). Average 8 students per class (maximum 12) 
- General English – Standard Mini Group (20 lessons / 15 hours per week). Average 4 students per class (maximum 6) 

Intensive English Courses
Course Duration: Minimum 1 week
- General English – Intensive (30 lessons / 22.5 hours per week). Average 8 students per class (maximum 12)
- General English – Intensive Mini Group (30 lessons / 22.5 hours per week). Average 4 students per class (maximum 6) 

Combination Course
Course Duration: Minimum 1 week 
Combination Course – Standard / Standard Mini Group or Intensive:
30 lessons / 22.5 hours per week (20 lessons of group classes & 10 lessons of private tuition)

General English - Person to Person / Private English Lessons
Course Duration: Minimum 1 week 
20 lessons / 15 hours per week or 30 lessons / 22.5 hours per week

Semi-private English Lessons / Two to One Classes
Course Duration: Minimum 1 week 
20 lessons / 15 hours per week or 30 lessons / 22.5 hours of semi-private tuition per week 

Business English Courses
Course Duration: Minimum 1 week
Business English – Standard: 20 lessons / 15 hours per week
Business English – Intensive: 30 lessons / 22.5 hours per week

The University of Warwick is located in the heart of England, on the border with Warwickshire in the Midlands. We offer English for academic purposes courses for international students in a lively campus community in a safe and supportive environment.

The pre-sessional English language course is available to students who have been offered a place at the University of Warwick. It can be taken for 5 or 10 weeks during the summer. It focuses on English for academic purposes and also helps students to adjust to life in Britain. The Pre-Requisite English Programme is for students who intend to study at postgraduate level either at Warwick or at another British University. The course runs from October to June, following the three terms of the academic year.
