Sandford Language Institute, Dublin:
Established in 1989, Sandford Language Institute is a quality language school, close to Dublin city centre, Ireland. We offer day & evening courses all year round in over 30 languages including Spanish, French, German, Italian, and Chinese among many others. We offer beginner to advanced level private tuition and group classes, as well as translating and interpreting services. Our tutors are native speakers and qualified teachers. Our language courses are suitable for secondary school students preparing for exams; university or college students who need extra help with their language studies or business people.

Beginner to Advanced Level Spanish Courses:

Spanish Level 1 (Beginner):
This class is intended for total beginners, with no prior knowledge of the language.

Spanish Level 1 Intensive (Absolute Beginners):
 For students who have no previous knowledge of the language. The tutor is South American. Please note a 15 minute break takes place from 19:30 - 19:45. Intensive tuition would be most suitable for those who would like to reach a higher level of Spanish in a shoter time frame than normal 1.5 hour per week classes.

Spanish Level 2 (Advanced Beginners):
For those with a basic knowledge of all the above language skills or for students who have completed the beginners course.

Spanish Level 3 (Lower Intermediate): 
For those that can understand and use simple structures fairly consistently, and can ask and respond to a wide range of simple questions. They have a reasonable idea of how the tense system works and can express themselves in familiar contexts, although they still make a quite a lot of mistakes.

Spanish Level 4 (Intermediate):
For those that have a good understanding and knowledge of a wide range of language structures and functions, although they may continue to make minor errors syntactically. They have considerable passive knowledge, but need to expand their active usage. They are ready to learn different ways of expressing ideas, work on the subtle nuances of the language, and expand the range of what they can say and write.

Spanish Level 5 (Upper Intermediate):
For those that have a good grasp of all the essential structures and can use them with a reasonable degree of accuracy. Although they have some language gaps and make some errors, they can communicate effectively and appropriately in most situations, including on unfamiliar topics. They are ready to learn more complex forms and more advanced vocabulary.

Spanish Advanced (Advanced):
For those that have a good understanding and knowledge of a wide range of language structures and functions, although they may continue to make minor errors syntactically. They have considerable passive knowledge, but need to expand their active usage. They are ready to learn different ways of expressing ideas, work on the subtle nuances of the language, and expand the range of what they can say and write.
