Spanish Evening Classes in Dublin

DLTC English & Foreign Language School:
The Dun Laoghaire Tuition Centre (DLTC) is a language school based in Dun Laoghaire, a beautiful seaside town, located just 13km south-east of Dublin City Centre, Ireland. At DLTC we offer evening Spanish language classes to students from beginner to intermediate levels. Evening Spanish Courses:
Part-time evening courses in Spanish beginning regularly throughout the year. Four levels from beginners to Intermediate. 

Methodology:
Our courses place great emphasis on 'spoken language'. In our experience, the greatest difficulty that many students have in learning a foreign language is mastering the ability to 'speak' the language as opposed to read, write or understand the grammar. In addition many students simply wish to learn enough of a language to be able to communicate in everyday situations while traveling or on holiday. For these reasons, the main emphasis of our group courses is on getting students to speak a language successfully and students are encouraged to speak as much as possible within the class.

Level 1 - Beginners
Speech topics:
Ask and say your name and surname
Ask and tell about your profession, what you do and where you work
Ask and say your nationality, address, e-mail address and telephone number
Talk about your family (age, marital status)
Describe people physically
Describe people’s personality
Ask for things in a shop and prices
Describe a city or country
Describe your house

Level 2 - Elementary
Speech topics:
Ask and give information about location of places
Ask and give the time
Ask and give information about your likes and dislikes
Talk about your daily routine
Say how often you do things
Ask and give information about your health
Offer, accept and refuse things
Make suggestions to people
Make phone calls
Make appointments
Invite somebody out
Talk about things you did in the past

Level 3 - Pre-Intermediate A
Speaking:
Talk about your work
Talk about your plans in the future
Express obligation
Ask for food in a shop (prices, ask for service)
Order in a restaurant
Give excuses and apologies
Talk about recent events
Talk about personal experiences
Share experiences and opinions
Talk about the things you are doing at the moment
Talk about clothes you are wearing
Buy clothes in a shop
Make comparisons

Level 4 - Pre-Intermediate B
Speaking:
Talk about a trip
Talk about biographies
Ask for permission and favours
Give orders
Express preferences
Ask and give information about ways of transportation
Talk about the weather
Value activities and events
Talk about your childhood
Describe people, places and objects in the past.
Talk about past routine.
Describe objects
Talk about the future, making predictions and hypothesis.

Intermediate
Aim: This is a conversational course aimed at improving overall speaking ability - grammar points are also reviewed.
