College Of Design - Ling Tung University, Taichung:
The College of Design was founded on August 1, 2001. The College offers majors in Visual Communication Design, Digital Content Design, Fashion Design and Technological Product Design. These programs lead to bachelor’s and master’s degrees.

Led by the Dean, Dr. Shu-ling Lai, an accomplished scholar, and many specialized faculties, the college has achieved considerable recognition in such specialized areas as visual design, digital animation, technological product, and in the fashion industry.

Ling Tung University has five schools, offering 17 undergraduate programs, 8 graduate programs, and 11 two-year and five-year programs.

Goals of the College:

The goal of the College is to foster and cultivate prospective professionals to possess aesthetic views and creative capabilities. The objectives of each major in the College will venue this goal in four developments as Cultural, Digital, Original, and Global.

The College of Design wishes to establish itself as a leader in all its related activities. To date, the College has obtained a good reputation and broad appreciation.

In the future, the College plans to integrate all curricula in the College of Design, to became equipped with the newest technology, and to work with enterprises and businesses to create one of the premiere design colleges in Taiwan.

Facilities:

We offer a dynamic, active, creative, and scenic campus. The building, around 30,000 square meters, includes an Art Exhibition Center, Digital Art Gallery, Virtual Reality Gallery, Outdoor Performance Square, and our Theater is the largest Design College building in Taiwan.
