Our 3-week summer Mandarin programs are ideal for children who come to Taiwan from overseas for vacation and are interested in learning Mandarin. As an experienced Mandarin teaching specialist, MLC is the pioneer of Mandarin summer programs.

Mandarin Language Summer Camps:
For kids & teens ages 7-9 and 10-13

- Mandarin language classes
Our summer courses include quality Mandarin language classes divided into 3 levels - Basic, Intermediate and Intermediate-Advanced.

Both Pinyin and Bopomofo systems are taught in class. Simplified character classes are included. All children have a placement test on their first day to determine their proficiency level, and then join the class that best meets their needs.

- Culture courses
In order to help our young students to understand Chinese art deeply and cultivate study interest, we arrange cultural classes including Kung Fu, Chinese Diablo, Chinese Knotting and more.

- Language reinforcement
To reinforce the key language skills of speaking, listening, reading and writing, we offer courses including Word Recognition, Chinese Idiom Application, Zhu-yin & Pin-yin, Speaking, and Essay Composition classes.

- Field trips
We provide field trips that allow our students to explore the northern Taiwan scenic spots. They are designed to inspire students' motivations for learning, train their observational skills, and foster their appreciation of Taiwanese culture.

- Special assistance for schoolwork
If summer camp students wish to stay at school after class, Mandarin language assistants can help them with their studies. In addition, children over the age of 10 can use the Digital Learning Center for homework reviewing, internet surfing or movie appreciation.
