Brilliance Preschool and Academy, located in Addison in Dallas County, 13 miles north of Dallas, Texas, is a private school, established to fill a need for high quality preschool education. Brilliance daycare focuses on the process of learning and not just the product. We offer nursery, preschool, kindergarten, elementary (til 4th grade), computer and summer camp programs. We serve families from Addison, Dallas, Carrollton, Farmers Branch, Garland, Coppell, Plano, Richardson, Irving Frisco, Lewisville and surrounding communities.

Our Philosophy:
Brilliance Academy’s approach to education is a blend of the best practices identified by three educators: Jean Piaget, Maria Montessori, and Howard Gardner. In developing its methodology, Brilliance curriculum has taken into account the importance of a child’s early formative years, the cognitive phases of a child’s development, the benefits of learning through concrete experiences, and the evaluation of the eight intelligences as presented by Howard Gardner.

Brilliance focuses on the process of learning and not just the product. Therefore, the work that the children do may not be perfect but it is what they have learned, the comprehension and the growth they go through in “doing” is what is important.Our teachers are trained in the philosophy of Communication, Creativity, Critical Thinking, Character and Confidence through mandatory staff development.

Fundamental training that leads to certification in principals of childcare is provided to every teacher. Accelerated A Beka curriculum is used to develop advanced skills in language and math and every child is developed at their own pace. Brilliance Academy is a nonreligious school that is focused on developing academic skills and promoting common human values.
