All Nations Christian Academy:
All Nations Christian Academy, located in New Haven, Connecticut (80 miles from NYC), is a small private Christian elementary school that offers an accelerated learning program and evangelical Christian foundation for students in grade K - 4th grade. Our school is designed to give children an individualized, nurturing, Christian education to enable them to develop to their full potential.
At All Nations Christian Academy we believe that, “In (Christ) are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge” (Col. 2:3, KJV). Our vision is to impart Christ’s wisdom and knowledge to the children of New Haven. Through daily study and memorization of Scripture, prayer, and singing of Christian praise music, our students are encouraged to accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and increase in their love and respect for one another.
History:
All Nations Christian Academy has operated for three years in the Fair Haven district of the city of New Haven, Connecticut. The Academy, formerly under the auspices of St. James' Episcopal Church is now a ministry of All Nations Christian Church, a new member of the Anglican Church of North America. This transition to a new headship church is expected to be a seamless one. All of the staff including the original founders: the director of the school, Blanca Little, and the pastor of the church, Geoffrey Little, will continue to lead the new church and school. All Nations Christian Church embraces a multicultural environment, worshiping in both English and Spanish, and ministering to the surrounding community with outreach programs.
Goals:
- To create a culturally enriching and creative learning environment where children can develop to their fullest academic, emotional, and social potential.
- To promote early critical thinking and accelerated reading, writing, and math skills, enabling children to succeed at or beyond their grade level.
- To introduce children to the life and ministry of Jesus Christ through the Holy Scriptures (Old and New Testaments); inviting them to personal faith and imitation of his character.
