Spanish Language Center, Chicago:
Spanish Language Center conveniently offers beginner to advanced level Spanish classes at 6 different locations in the Chicago metro area (Chicago Downtown, Evanston, Hinsdale, Lakeview, Naperville, and Palatine). Our private, group, and corporate Spanish programs are available year-round, and students may enroll at any time.

- Beginner to Advanced Levels
General Group Spanish Classes:
Group classes commonly meet once a week for 1.5 hours, for 8 consecutive weeks. All group students are entitled to up to 16 hours of additional tutoring time. All classes cover specific grammar and conversation accordingly to the level.
All class exercises and participation are oral. Class participation is a must. Everyone speaks! Grammar is explained in a comprehensible manner for a better understanding of the structuring and its immediate application. Group classes are small, so everyone actively participates. Average size for a group is 3 to 4 students. - Introductory
For students who have no prior - or minimum - experience with Spanish, its grammar or its pronunciation. It covers the basics.
Emphasis in pronunciation, basic grammar and vocabulary. This level is divided into: Intro 1 and Intro 2. By the end of this level, students WILL be able to communicate in Spanish in present, future and past.
- Beginners
For students who have completed Intro 1 and 2, or who have some other previous Spanish experience, studies and/or understanding.
The knowledge and understanding of the material covered in the previous level is a prerequisite. Pronunciation should not be an obstacle and some conjugation should be recognized. This level is subdivided into 4 sub-levels: Beginners 1, 2, 3 and 4.
- Intermediate
For students who feel comfortable and familiar with the following tenses in Spanish: Present, preterite, imperfect, future and conditional.
This level concentrates in presenting and mastering the use of the subjunctive as well as reviewing the previous tenses. This level is divided into 5 sub-levels: Intermediate 1, 2, 3, 4 and Only-Conversation.
- Advanced
For students who are knowledgeable about the language; can speak it and understand it, but need to practice and review advanced grammar such as Subjunctive, Compound tenses and Passive Voice. Fluency is required. This level is divided into 5 sub-levels: Advanced 1, 2, 3, 4 and Only-Conversation.
