Aging baby boomers comprise both the largest and the longest-lived group of older persons in human history; they will live 20 to 30 years longer than the previous generations, with more chronic diseases than any preceding generation.

Concurrently, due to changing social dynamics, there will be a shrinking number of family members or paid caregivers available to care for them.

The core of experience for seniors is provided by poorly trained individuals working in non-professional settings in most instances, we therefore came to realize that our caregivers needed to be trained better and more proficiently to do their jobs, look more professional and be taught and trained right before they begin to perform the essential job of caring for the elderly.

The caregiver's job is one of profound importance on a daily basis. We are taking care of very special people with very special needs. Therefore we need to be learning and conducting ourselves in a way that we can be trusted.

Since there is a variety of care giving involved in most families, the knowledge of this care has to be intensely studied, as we are expected to care for someone's father, mother or child, that have illnesses beyond the normal healthy young individual.
