Villanova is a member of the Augustinian Secondary Education Association (ASEA) which comprises eight secondary institutions in North America and over 100 schools worldwide. Villanova Preparatory School was founded in 1924 as a Catholic school in the Augustinian tradition. At Villanova, all educational and extra-curricular activities emphasize the Augustinian values of unity, truth and love.

Our Faculty:

At Villanova Preparatory School, the fundamental component of student success is our dedicated faculty. Villanova Prep employs approximately 50 faculty, support staff, and administration to provide an outstanding community-based education for its students. Nearly all of the faculty and administration possess advanced degrees and/or California teaching credentials, as well as many years of experience at Villanova.

To support an individualized learning environment, teachers regularly give personal attention to students. All faculty members offer daily assistance outside the regular school day; they are readily accessible to mentor and assist students.

Athletics:

The goal of the Villanova Athletic Programs is that all scholar-athletes who participate in our program develop life skills that include: the ability to work with others effectively, the ability to lead others in a positive manner, the ability to perform at his / her best in competitive situations, the ability to enjoy athletic activities, and the ability to develop a personal lifetime fitness philosophy.

The Villanova Athletic Program offers multiple sports during all three sport seasons. The majority of the students participates in at least one sport, with many participating in two or more over the course of the school year.

Small Fry Dance Club

Small Fry Dance Club offers a preschool dance program in Foster City in San Mateo County, CA. Our dance program is designed to give young students a survey style class that covers basics in tap, ballet, jazz, creative movement, and yoga. Our goal is to help each student find a place for dance in their life. No matter what the degree of each child's dance goals, discovering movement should be nothing but empowering. Through dance, Small Fry teaches children to be creative, physically fit, flexible, confident, and artistic.

Small Fry Dance Club was founded by Jana Chapeton in early 2007. We have had 1,000 plus students come through the program at over 20 different schools. We have also been nominated as "Best Dance School" by Best of The Bay TV (2009).

All of our teachers have extensive education and experience teaching dance, performance, and motor skills to preschool and school age students. Twice a year, Small Fry dancers have the chance to participate in our company performances. Our shows are a great chance for the dancers to gain experience performing, while sharing their progress in weekly dance class with friends and family.
