CES College, Los Angeles County:
Located in Burbank, Los Angeles County, California, 12 miles north of downtown Los Angeles, Community Enhancement Services (CES) College offers English as a Second Language (ESL) programs and vocational education programs. We opened our educational facilities in 1995 with a purpose to offer education opportunities to address the unique needs of individuals and communities served by CES, by providing adults with the knowledge and skills necessary for employment, skill upgrades, career changes and / or advanced education.

We are approved as an official Certified Test Administration Site (CTAS) to deliver ETS's Internet-based TOEFL test.  CES College is approved by the US Department of Education to offer financial aid to those who qualify. We know how important the cost of the program is for you, and therefore make sure that every student can afford education by keeping our tuition low and by offering financial aid.

At CES College, the instructors are patient, dedicated, professional and highly qualified individuals. - English as a Foreign Language (ESL) program:  For international students.

- Homestay program:  With a local family.

- Vocational English as a Second Language (VESL-725) program:  A specialized VESL program that assists immigrants and refugees find meaningful employment in the U.S. labor market.

- Advanced Vocational English as a Second Language (AVESL) program:  A comprehensive course with a special emphasis on employment related applications.

Our Students:
Many of the students at CES are refugees coming from Iraq, Iran, Korea and Armenia. They have chosen CES based on recommendations and referrals from school graduates and community based organizations. The college closely coordinates with the CES Refugee Employment Program, which assists over 400 clients a year with case management, counseling, child care, transportation as well as job placement. They also help with transitional items such as learning how to read their bills, opening a checking account and other everyday activities.

Student Visa:
CES College is approved to accept international students. CES College is approved to issue SEVIS I-20 forms you need to apply for student F-1 visa. We will help you with every step during your application process as we know how complicated it can be sometimes.

- Homestay Accommodation:  Share in the daily life and experiences of an English-speaking family: A great opportunity to immerse yourself in local life, and practice your English in a friendly and informal atmosphere. Each new family goes through a strict selection process.

- Guest Room:  In the USA, the Guest Room option allows you to stay in attractive private homes and apartments, combining the benefits of a family-like environment and an independent stay. You get a separate room; however, food is not included in this option.

- Local Hotels: CES has negotiated special discounted rates with hotels of various price ranges.
