English Language Courses:
- General English course - 30 classes per week:
Suitable for students of all levels, the General English Program focuses on the key skills of writing, speaking, reading, and listening. You will practice conversation and speaking skills using practical, real-world English. You develop strategic listening skills, learn to write with accuracy and effectiveness, and improve their use of grammar.
Four morning courses focus on the speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills necessary to communicate effectively in English. Two afternoon Skills Enhancement Classes let you apply what you learn in English in a communicative and natural context while learning about subjects that suit your individual interests. Sample topics might include Film, Idioms, Culture and Current Events.
- TOEFL preparation course - 30 classes per week:
Colleges and universities throughout North America recognize passing of the TOEFL® (Test of English as a Foreign Language) exam as satisfactory proof of English language proficiency. This 12-week comprehensive course teaches you the key English language skills (speaking, writing, reading, and listening) to help you to get the score you need to succeed on the TOEFL® iBT exam. In addition, you will take test taking strategies and tips.
- Semi-Intensive English course - 20 classes per week:
You will have your English language classes in the morning and have the afternoons free to pursue your own activities, which may include visits to local sites and attractions. This course is ideal if you wish to explore your surroundings as you achieve English language fluency. This course combines key language skills including speaking, listening, pronunciation, vocabulary, reading and writing.
- English for Academic Purposes - 30 classes per week:
Achieve English proficiency for university study as you learn key English language skills and engage in practical, real-world conversations.Begin your academic career with confidence! Earn a certificate of completion that fulfills the English language requirement at any of more than 650 ELS Partner Schools. This program is suitable for all levels - from beginner to advanced.
- American Explorer Program - 15 classes per week:
If you are planning a short vacation to the US, then the American Explorer Program is perfect for you. Learn to speak with locals as you explore cultural attractions and popular tourist destinations. English classes are available in the morning leaving your afternoon free for sightseeing.
