Southwest Conservatory of Music:
Southwest Conservatory of Music, located in Fountain Valley, Orange County, California, is a music school offering professional music instruction to students as young as 18 months old, up through high school level and adults. We offer group lessons and private lessons for and have music students at all ages and levels. Students participate in music recitals, evaluations and competitions when they are ready to do so. Many of our students participate in the Certificate of Merit music evaluation program, which is organized by the Music Teachers' Association of California. This is a comprehensive music exam which evaluates the students in 5 areas of music study, including performance, technique, music theory, ear training and sight reading.

Our teachers are all university trained, many with graduate degrees in music, and they specialize on the instrument that they teach. In addition, the teachers are active performers as well as experienced educators, making them ideally suited to work with students of all levels. The teachers we have on staff are involved in music as a career and not a hobby, and are dedicated to helping to provide the best possible music education for the students. Most of the teachers are also members of the music teacher organizations making their students eligible to participate in the events sponsored by those organizations, such as the MTAC Certificate of Merit Evaluation, the National Piano Guild Auditions and others. About Us:
Southwest Conservatory of Music is a music school located in Fountain Valley, California. We offer group and private music lessons to students of all ages and levels. We are dedicated to providing the best possible music education to our students. Our teaching staff includes highly qualified university trained teachers, who are not only trained in music performance, but also experienced as music teachers. Several of our teachers are members of state and national music teacher associations, such as the MTAC and the American College of Musicians, giving our students the opportunity to participate in evaluations and competitions sponsored by those organizations. Our teaching studios are professional, spacious and well equipped with quality instruments including grand pianos for all piano students. We are located in Fountain Valley, near the corner of Brookhurst and Ellis, approximately 1/2 mile south of the 405 freeway.
