Located in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina (within driving distance to Charlotte, Asheville, and Atlanta), Trails Carolina provides an individualized therapeutic wilderness program for troubled adolescents and struggling teens. Our intervention programs are designed for boys and girls ages 10-13, and 14-17.Trails was founded on the belief that traditional wilderness therapy could better serve the long-term needs of students and their families. Our clinically proven methods work exceptionally well with ADHD, Anxiety, Depression, Learning Difficulties, Low self-esteem, Substance abuse, and many other difficulties.

Turning Winds Academic Institute (TWAI)

Located in northwestern Montana, Turning Winds Academic Institute (TWAI) is an accredited, family-run, therapeutic boarding school for troubled teens (boys and girls) ages 13-18 from Tennessee and across the United States.In our beautiful, peaceful, and safe location, we combine the benefits of a therapeutic boarding school, a wilderness program, and a residential treatment center (RTC).
TWAI has been serving struggling teens and their families since 2002, with an exceptional degree of success.
We provide an extremely high standard of therapeutic treatment to our students, and offer help for the following presenting issues: poor academic performance, behavioral problems, addictions, low self-worth, spectrum disorders, ADD/ADHD, and attachment disorders among others.
With a passion for helping young people in crisis, our clinical, educational, and operations staff are among the best in the country.
We are a small program (40 students) which means that we are able to provide a truly unique and customized approach for every student.
Typically our on site student to staff ratio is 5:1. The average stay at our residential treatment center is 12 months.

Cherokee Creek Boys School (CCBS), located in Westminster, South Carolina, is an accredited, therapeutic boarding school for boys with ADHD, anxiety issues, and other teen behavior problems. Located on 185 acres in Martin GA, 85 miles northeast of Atlanta, Shepherd’s Hill Academy (SHA) is a co-ed Therapeutic Christian boarding school offering gender separated programs in an outdoor residential setting for troubled teens ages 12-17. SHA's programs are tailored for teens struggling with a variety of negative behaviors including: ODD (Oppositional Defiant Disorder), ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder), ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder), anger management, anxiety disorders, Bipolar disorder, behavioral disorders, and more.
