Augusta Prep Day School:
Located in Martinez, a northern suburb of Augusta, Richmond County, Georgia, Augusta Prep Day School is a private co-educational PreK-12 school with extended day care and summer camp. We offer a college preparatory curriculum with advanced placement, honors and college prep courses such as SAT and ACT. At Augusta Prep we seek to engage minds, develop character, and build relationships with our students on a daily basis. Co-Educational Programs from Pre-Kindergarten through 12th Grade: 

Lower School:
The Lower School encompassing preschool, kindergarten and grades 1-5 encourages the fun of being a child while teaching the skills necessary to be a good student. A nurturing and devoted faculty welcomes and encourages creativity and acknowledges individual accomplishments. In a safe and friendly environment, Lower School students learn academic basics as well as Spanish, research skills, computer, art, music, and physical education.

The Lower School encourages independent learning as well as group projects, which demonstrate the value of collaboration. Lower School programs focus chiefly on building independence, assuming personal responsibility, and developing character. Service is of great importance in the Lower School. Beginning in first grade, each grade level adopts a service project, and the Lower School at large participates in additional annual service projects.

Middle School:
The Middle School program at Augusta Prep seeks to support students through the incredible physical, emotional, social, and cognitive changes of the middle school years, and also helps them discover and develop their distinct strengths and talents.

In a lively, friendly, and inviting climate of mutual respect, students are offered challenging academic courses. Delivered in small class sizes, these courses are developed to capture the curiosity and energy of the middle school student. The curriculum is enhanced by offerings in computer, art, music, and daily physical education.

Using an interdisciplinary team teaching approach creates relationships between courses, teachers and students. Creating these connections gives students the opportunity to see the whole picture.

Upper School:
The Upper School at Augusta Prep encourages individuality of thought, actions of integrity and responsibility, and attitudes of maturity as the students prepare for college. A distinguished and dedicated faculty offers a curriculum that is both traditional and challenging with college preparation as the primary focus.

In addition to a rigorous curriculum with English, math, history, science, foreign languages, fine art, the Upper School offers an array of elective, extracurricular, and co-curricular opportunities. Individual responsibility and personal integrity are integrated into all Upper School programs, both inside and outside of the classroom. Students and Alumni agree that the Upper School at Augusta Prep is a unique and rewarding experience.

Advanced Placement and Honors Courses:
Courses are presented at honors levels, as well as offerings of the Advanced Placement of the College Board, to challenge all students to reach their full potential.

College Prep SAT and ACT:
We offer college prep for SAT and ACT.

Athletics:
Extracurricular athletics begin in Middle School, including offerings of ten sports and thirty-nine teams to Middle and Upper School students. Prep believes that athletic programs develop physical skills, enhance self-confidence, encourage accomplishment, and instill in students a sense of sportsmanship and fair play. Augusta Prep believes that all students have something to contribute and that athletic participation should be an opportunity afforded all students. Our athletic programs encourage healthy competition and a love of the sport for the sport’s sake.
