Who am I? I am someone who lives outside the box. I have a well of inspiration. When I express myself, I feel fully alive. I’m looking for a way to begin my artistic journey.

Study acting, art, speech, movement, choir, dance, script analysis, music theory, spiritual formation, Christianity and the arts, drama ministry, and technical theatre, plus you’ll travel to the West Coast and experience the best of BC theatre.

Deepen your understanding of your personal gifts and talents, and upon completion of the Certificate Programme, you are prepared to pursue further training in a specialization of your choice and calling. Find the courage to be yourself.

Mentorship Training:
If you’re serious about making a career in theatre, you want to train with professional artists who are already working in the biz. Work alongside those artists, learn from them, pick their brain, collaborate on a show, share the stage with them, build a set together, travel abroad, throw a design idea across the table, swap stories, discuss a play, and ultimately grow the artist that is within you.

Our affiliation with Rosebud Theatre, one of Alberta’s largest theatre companies, offers you the unparalleled opportunity to practice your craft in a working theatre, honing your skills with experienced theatre professionals, as you prepare for a career in the performing arts.

Mentorship Level I: the most intense eight months you’ll ever experience, packed with extensive course work, classes, practicums, and studio stage shows. Receive a diploma in the area of your specialization.

Music Internship:
You’ve completed a music program and need a place to practice what you’ve learned – Rosebud offers 6 to 12 month Music Internships to help you make the transition from education to career by gaining valuable performance time in a successful performing arts centre.

Open Studies Internship:
Need a place to get away? Rosebud offers focus and direction in a peaceful Spirit-filled environment through short-term study and work experiences – an ideal programme for international students or those pursuing a degree at another institution.
