STARS English Language Summer School:
STARS offer the complete English language summer school experience for non-native English speaking & international students ages 10-18. Our program, based in Oswestry in the West of England, comprises of a full weekly programme of English lessons, afternoon activities, evening entertainment and excursions. This includes full residential campus accommodation in a safe, secure environment with caring and attentive staff. Our handpicked staff make us the first choice for a relaxed learning experience with their enthusiasm and passion for working with children.

We offer a professional service for all aspects of our programme. English lessons are given by qualified, experienced native English teachers which guarantees that students will improve in their English Language ability drastically. This is then furthered by our activities and entertainment programmes which all emphasise the use of English, as well as other social interactions with each student will get to enjoy.

Students will leave our camp refreshed, having had fun, having made new friends, having increased their self-confidence and of course, having improved their English with lots of wonderful memories to treasure.

- 15 hours of quality English tuition per week

Founded in 1407, Oswestry School is one of the oldest non-denominational schools in England and stands on the edge of the attractive market town of Oswestry on the border of England and Wales. It is set in 50 acres of its own grounds and boasts some of the most beautiful countryside in Britain on its doorstep.

The School is split into 3 main Houses: Guinevere House, School House and Holbache House. Each house is complete with a kitchen, common room with Wi-Fi and satellite TV as well as bathrooms and washrooms on each floor. All houses are situated very close to each other giving the campus a very homely feel. The accommodation standard is excellent and room sizes vary from twins for teenagers to larger dorms, perfect for younger children.

Oswestry also benefits from many fantastic facilities across the campus so that it can cater for many different activities. Facilities include 30 acres of playing fields, a heated indoor swimming pool, gymnasium, all-weather tennis and netball courts. In addition it has a well-equipped IT suite and bright modern classrooms.

All of our activities are overseen and led by the Sports and Arts Manager, who ensures there is a wide range of things to do on offer daily. Students have a choice of which activities they want to do each day allowing them to interact with other nationalities and practive their English.

- Our typical day is split into 3 periods. In the mornings there are 3 hours of English lessons given by qualified teachers focusing on spoken and oral development.

- In the afternoons there is a wide range of sports and arts available and students can choose which activities they would like to participate in. All our activities are supervised by staff who join in the fun.

- In the evenings there are various entertaining events put on such as Discos, Talent Shows, Casino nights and many more. Our firm emphasis on quality ensures that each child will have the best time possible and want to return for many years to come.
