Amigos de las Americas:
Based in New York City, Amigos de las Américas (AMIGOS) is an international, not-for-profit organization that provides summer abroad, service learning programs for high school and college students. Our program empowers young adults to grow as leaders and increase their multi-cultural understanding through training and community service projects in Latin American countries such as Mexico, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Honduras, and more.

Since its founding in 1965, more than 20,000 high school and college-age students have served as AMIGOS Volunteers. The New York Chapter was founded in 2002 to provide the Amigos opportunity to students living in the New York City area. Throughout the school year, the New York CIty Chapter prepares its members for their Latin America experiences through training in cross-cultural sensitivity, networking, technical skills, personal health & safety, and the culture of Latin America.

I’m Bilingual!® Languages Through Music
I’m Bilingual!® is an early childhood bilingual arts program that promotes languages through music for preschool children. I’m Bilingual! applies a uniquely effective learning approach that introduces children, ages 0-7, to languages utilizing its award-winning materials that incorporate music, dance, art and movement.

With two schools in New York City (Manhattan East & West), and one in New York State (Manhasset), the Language Workshop For Children (LWFC) provides a range of quality Spanish language learning classes for kids ages 0-9 years. Whether it's language immersion preschool, after-school lessons, school-break programs, toddler classes, baby education or summer day camps, the subtle details of the LWFC’s celebrated 'Thibaut Technique' and the quality of their colorful and professional take-home materials is what makes the difference.
At LWFC, tots and children will learn Spanish through fun immersion playgroup in Spanish. All of our teachers are native speakers.

El Taller Latino Americano, (The Latin American Workshop) is a non-profit cultural arts center on Manhattan's Upper West Side in New York - a space alive with color, sound, movement, and creativity - music, art and language converge to educate and entertain. We offer a year-round after-school Spanish language immersion program for children ages 4 to 13 years, covering thematic units that include games, short stories, songs (including songs written by our founder for bilingual Sesame Street episodes), drama, dance, puppetry, and music with an emphasis on auditory learning.
El Taller's expert team of teachers are also professional artists and musicians who fuse El Taller's 30-year-strong language method with unique games and activities that will excite and enrich your child. Hills Learning is a language school centrally located in Manhattan, NYC (right beside Grand Central Station). We offer Mandarin Chinese language programs for kids, teenagers and adults which combine fun and interactive language activities with quality Chinese language instruction. Our theory is you can't learn language without culture, and you don't learn anything if it's not fun.
We offer group Mandarin Chinese classes which are held at the Hills Learning center. Private Chinese lessons can be held throughout the five boroughs of New York City (Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, The Bronx and Staten Island) as well as in parts of Connecticut and New Jersey.
Our teachers are available to do lessons at the child’s home, just as long as a parent or legal guardian is present. We also offer online Chinese classes.
