Amigos de las Americas:
Amigos de las Américas (AMIGOS) is an international, not-for-profit organization with more than 30 chapters across the U.S. that provides unparalleled leadership and community service opportunities for young people while concurrently contributing to the well-being of hundreds of communities throughout the Americas.
We offer summer abroad, service learning Volunteer programs for high school and college students. Our program empowers young adults to grow as leaders and increase their multi-cultural understanding through training and community service projects in Latin American countries such as Mexico, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Honduras, and more.

Location and Facilities:
Since its founding in 1965, more than 20,000 high school and college-age students have served as AMIGOS Volunteers. The New York Chapter was founded in 2002 to provide the Amigos opportunity to students living in the New York City area. Throughout the school year, the New York CIty Chapter prepares its members for their Latin America experiences through training in cross-cultural sensitivity, networking, technical skills, personal health & safety, and the culture of Latin America.

I’m Bilingual!® Languages Through Music
I’m Bilingual!® is an early childhood bilingual arts program that promotes languages through music for preschool children. I’m Bilingual! applies a uniquely effective learning approach that introduces children, ages 0-7, to languages utilizing its award-winning materials that incorporate music, dance, art and movement.

Hills Learning
Courses / Programs
Hills Learning is a language school located in Manhattan, New York City offering Japanese language courses for kids, teenagers and adults of all abilities. Our Japanese programs for kids combine fun and interactive language activities with quality language instruction. We offer both group classes, private lessons, and intensive Japanese courses. Group classes are held at Hills Learning center in Manhattan, but private classes can be held at the student’s home. We service all five boroughs of New York (Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, The Bronx and Staten Island) as well as parts of New Jersey and Connecticut.
Our Japanese Highschool class combines cultural activities with regular Japanese conversation and writing and reading skills. We include activities such as Origami, Calligraphy, and even have the students learn how to roll sushi.
