Mandarin Chinese Language Immersion Programs for Kids Ages 1-10:
Our world seems to shrink more and more by the day. With many jobs going overseas to China and what seems like its inevitable rise as one of the world’s economic hubs, Mandarin is becoming one of the most in-demand languages in business.

Due to this fact, Mandarin is the fastest growing language in Middle Schools, High Schools and Universities around the country. Unfortunately though, learning Mandarin as an adult will take approximately 2,300 hours to become conversational due to the complexity of the language, whereas those hours are significantly cut by starting early.

General Chinese Classes (1-10 Years)
Split into age appropriate levels, kids experience an hour or more of cultural and foreign language immersion once or twice per week.

Preschool Chinese Classes (3-4 Years)
Our extended immersion classes for preschoolers will put your little ones on a quick path to fluency with up to 9 hours of foreign language per week.

'Parent's Night Out' Chinese Classes (3-10 Years)
Let us be your sitter for the night! Kids will be exposed to multiple languages at each event while engaging in themed activities all night.

Situated in Alameda CA, Bay Language Academy provides beginner to advanced level classes and after school programs to children and adults in a variety of languages. We currently offer Spanish, Mandarin, French, Japanese, Italian, Korean, English, German and Arabic.

Focusing on the specific needs of students and their parents, the classes are offered once, twice or three times weekly after school in 75 to 150-minute sessions. Parents are informed after each class of what was covered and what is expected from the young students for the next session.
