Yak Academy San Diego:
Located in Mira Mesa, just 30 minutes north of Downtown San Diego, Yak Academy San Diego provides Mandarin Chinese immersion programs for children ages 1-10, including General Chinese immersion classes, "Parent & Me", "Preschool Program" and once-a-week Enrichment Classes. - Fun, Play-Based Approach
We believe there is a right way to aid language acquisition. When children have to understand to “survive” (participate) in an immersion environment, they acquire chunks of useful language. This becomes even easier when preschool curriculum is presented in a fun, play‐based fashion just like in an English‐only setting.

We believe that children are intelligent. At a young age, they know what they like and learn better if the content being taught relates to their interests. This allows a preschooler’s natural love of learning to take over, encourages feelings of competency and increases the probability of classroom success.
