Music Camps in Kentucky for Teenagers

Stephen Collins Foster Summer Music Camps, Richmond KY:
Stephen Collins Foster Summer Music Camps provide musically-talented middle and high school students with the opportunity for outstanding musical and social experiences this summer. Located on campus at Eastern Kentucky University in Richmond KY, our camps feature tuition in string instruments, piano, percussion, and vocal training.

Summer Music Camps:
- Designed for middle & high school students

Middle School Band & Strings:
This camp is designed for young instrumentalists with one to three years of playing experience. Features include Concert Band, Full Symphony Orchestra, Daily Instrumental Skill development Classes, Daily Small Ensemble, Faculty Recitals, Band and Orchestra Concerts and Small Ensemble Concert.

Middle School Vocal Camp:
Designed for young singers of middle school age including those entering the sixth grade.

Piano Camp I (Grades 5-8)
Foster Piano Camp classes and lessons are designed to improve current skills and open new horizons to the participants.

Piano Camp II (Grades 8-12)
An exciting and interesting experience for Beginner to Advanced keyboard students.

World Percussion Workshop:
Designed for students in Grades 8-12, participants spend an intensive week immersed in world percussion performance and history

High School Band & Strings (1 /2 Week Option)
This Camp provides a multitude of musical experiences which can assist the high school musician in making decisions about a possible career in music.

High School Vocal Camp:
This Camp is designed for singers of high school age including those entering the ninth grade and those who will graduate in the spring. Students will study vocal techniques and develop sight-reading strategies.
