MiBytes Computer Camp, University of Michigan:
MiBytes is a computer summer camp for high school students in Ann Arbor, sponsored and run by the University of Michigan (UM), a leading institution in the Computer Science and Engineering field. As a MiBytes camper, students will have the opportunity to attend classes taught by UM faculty, and interact with UM computer science undergraduates. The undergraduate students can answer questions on the process of getting into college and share their experiences of being a college student! 1) Tinkering with Mobile Apps 1 & 2: 5 days each

3)Bits and Chips and Drones!: 10 days
These are non-residential programs that include campus tours, field trips to local tech companies and other recreational activities immersing students into the college experience.
No programming experience is required for attending MiBytes.

The Office of Gifted and Talented Education has been providing programming for academically able students for over 20 years. We offer academic year and summer programming for middle and high school students (grades 7 - 12). All programs are instructed by MSU professors. Residential programs provide a 10:1 ratio of students to Resident Hall Assistant. Resident Assistants provide 24 hours supervision on students. Many programs include evening enrichment activities as well as use of campus facilities. Academic criteria must be met for each program. Partial scholarships are available.
