The Instituto Superior de Español ISE has been compromised to the teaching of Spanish to foreigners since 1988. Through the years we have refined our methodology and have developed different programs to fulfill needs and expectations of our Students.

Ecuador's Weather and Destinations:

Because we divide our country in 4 regions, in each one you will find different weather.

1. The Andes Highlands: Meet the snow capped Cotopaxi, the high Imbabura and its lake, the Cayambe or the Chimborazo, all in the same route.  Many communities with a range of clothing colors, ancestral traditions, handicrafts.  This area is also the home of the capital of Ecuador, Quito.  A city that has beautiful colonial buildings and history to tell.

2. The Coast: Ecuador has a weather privileged location in the world, we have around the same fine temperature the whole year.  Here you won't find here frizzing beaches but mild to hot ones to have just a relaxed and pleasant time.

3. The Amazon Jungle: To have an area such well preserved in the world should be a must to see for everybody.  This area is warm, good humidity for the health, home to many species and a natural landscape worth of a postcard.

4. The Galapagos Islands:  Needless to say one of the world true jewels, with many lessons to learn from it, this place is often compared to paradise.  Unique wildlife that is protected and therefore doesn't fear humans, they live free and are a wonder to science to study.  Water is delightful to swim at. Their beaches are of clear sand or even red depending on the Island you visit.

Transportation in Ecuador:
Moving around in Ecuador is pretty much easy and low cost.  The minimum price for a taxi is $1.45 and are very regulated transportation in every city.  Bus transportation is only 25 cents!  If you want to move from one city to another buses depart every hour to every 5 minutes, private transportation is also easily arranged and if you want to travel by plane there are many companies with the longest distance taking less than an hour to complete.

Ecuador is located in South America, for sure one of the smallest countries being this an advantage.   We divide the country in 4 regions, the Andes, the Coast, the Amazon Jungle and the Galapagos Islands, this means that we have every kind of weather in such a convenient close distance.  Feeling like hiking a mountain? or Bathing in the sun?
