Laurel Hill Nursery School, San Francisco:Centrally located in the heart of San Francisco in the Laurel Heights area, Laurel Hill is the oldest parent-participation, cooperative private nursery school in San Francisco. Our philosophy is child-centered and is focused on building a child's self esteem through socialization and play. While there is no strict academic program at Laurel Hill, our children thrive in an environment that lets them learn organically. Established in 1946, Laurel Hill is the largest co-op nursery school in the Bay Area, with approximately 80 families enrolled. We currently have a staff of 8 teachers, and with parent participation our adult-to-child ratio is roughly 1 to 5.

Education Programs:
- Nursery School Program: We follow a child-centered philosophy of early childhood education for ages 2 years 9 months to 5 years. Children are allowed to learn through play and by exploring their environment at their own developmental pace.
- Pre-Kindergarten (Pre-K) Program: Our Pre-K curriculum is tailored to the needs of young 5 year olds, while still adhering to our child-focused philosophy.

Montessori Country Academy is a child care center offering a nurturing and stimulating environment for children ages 18 months to 6 years in Elk Grove, Sacramento County. Children are placed in multi-aged classrooms with attention to their ability and development, rather than strictly by age. Woodbury Preschool Village is located at 712 W. Mountain View, Altadena, CA 91001 and provides Infant care, Preschool and Kindergarten child care. We are open Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm with a special early bird program that opens as early as 7:00 am. There are full time, part time, and half-day programs available. Through developmentally appropriate practice, our program provides for a variety of experiences, levels of difficulty, and pacing. At Woodbury Preschool Village, our philosophy is based on the principal that learning should be the result of the actual experience that play is a significant mode of learning, and above all, that school should be a place of joy.

We are a non-profit corporation established in 1987 by San Bernardino City employees, San Bernardino County employees and CA state employees.Teddy Bear Tymes provides advanced training in infant-toddler care through our infant / toddler care program which is sponsored by the CA Dept. of Education. Our preschool curriculum is matched to the CA State preschool learning foundations daily, and our kindergarten classes meet state and local school district standards in all curriculum areas. All Teddy Bear Tymes staff are certified and have been fingerprinted and cleared through the Dept. of Justice. They are trained in CPR and First Aid and are registered with community care licensing.
