DCT was founded in 1991 and had its first intake of 20 international students in January of 1992. From this small beginning, the school has expanded its program offerings and grown to its present size. During this time, DCT has educated men and women from over 45 different nations, with over a thousand graduates earning the valued DCT Diploma. DCT alumni hold leading positions in top hotels, restaurants and tourism organizations around the world.

Students are accommodated in double or large triple hotel-style rooms. All rooms are equipped with private toilet (bathroom) with bathtub or shower, color television, refrigerator, direct-dial telephone and free wireless Internet access 24/7. Bed sheets, pillows, and blankets are provided, but you should bring your own hand and bath towels.

Deluxe double, single, and deluxe single rooms are available in limited numbers at an extra charge. Please contact the DCT Admission Office for further details.

DCT provides all students a home away from home, including a Student Lounge and recreation area open 24-hours daily for relaxing, watching movies, or just getting toegether with fellow students.

At no addition fee, students can stay on campus during the vacations between terms, and can enjoy all meals seven days per week.

Coin-operated washing machines and dryers, as well as irons and ironing boards, are available for use. Dry-cleaning service is provided on campus at discounted rates.

DCT's Library is a meeting point for all students. You can read current issues of magazines and journals or specialized books in many categories. DCT also provides a digital library of e-books, journals and online databases. Students can access the online features by logging in to the campus intranet
