The headquarters of Rennert Bilingual is in New York City (216 E. 45th Street, New York, NY 10017) and also has a location in Miami, Florida (16401 NW 37 Avenue, Miami, FL 33054). Since 1973, Rennert Bilingual has taught English-as-a-Foreign-Language to people from more than 40 countries. Our experience has helped us to develop a focused and flexible program for both the serious student who wishes to pursue business or advanced study in the USA and the traveler who wishes to combine survival English with sightseeing.
American English Programs
Rapid Progress 20 - This semi-intensive program enables you to make rapid progress in your English studies while having plenty of time for extracurricular activities in New York or Miami. Classes meet for four hours a day, mornings or afternoons. Use your free time to enjoy all that New York and Miami have to offer with other Rennert students.
Rapid Progress 30 - Our most intensive program includes six hours of classes per day, with both morning and afternoon classes. Special emphasis is placed on conversation skills. Rennert offers an extensive activity calendar to complement your classroom learning. Learn English in class and put it to use while enjoying New York City or Miami in the evening and on weekends.
Professional English Programs
Our Professional English Program, available exclusively at our New York Center, is designed to enable working professionals to improve their English communication skills in the amount of time they have, even if all they have is one week.
The courses in this program are more than just "Business English", and they are not just for "Business People". They are designed to equip professionals of all types with the tools they need to interact in English with others on a personal and professional level. The materials used emphasize cultural issues in the professional workplace, as well as different levels of discourse, networking, presentation skills and industry trends.
Participants choose between small international groups, private classes, or both. This variety allows for all types of learners to join a class that specifically fits their needs and learning styles.
Exam Preparation Programs
TOEFL Preparation course (20 hours per week) - Improve your performance on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), which opens the door to admissions and scholarships at North American colleges and universities. Upper-Intermediate to advanced level students meet for four hours daily to study the structure, listening, reading comprehension, writing and speaking sections of the exam. Weekly practice tests are reviewed extensively with the instructor, and additional tests may be taken at your convenience.
TOEIC Test Center
The Test of English for International Communication (TOEIC) is an English proficiency test that measures the everyday language skills of people working in an international environment. Scores indicate how well individuals can read and communicate in English with others in business, commerce and industry. A high TOEIC score fortifies your resume and is an important credential for your next job application.
