These courses are not designed for beginners. Students must be 18 years or over, and must already have at least elementary standard. Classes will be restricted in size appropriate to intensive English language tuition. The courses are structured to cover grammar, conversation/culture and listening comprehension. Student participation is encouraged through topic-based communicative activities - debates, discussions, role- play, reports and presentation on such topics as modern society; the media, advertising, politics, the arts, etc. On-campus accommodation is available.
