She has studied International Relations and is a native Guatemalan.

Spanish Immersion Homestay Programs in Antigua, Guatemala:

The program is divided into 4 stages:

1st level:
In this level the objective is for the student to speak and understand the basic concepts and grammatical structures to apply them to practical situations and to make good use of pronunciation (using 2 verb tenses).

Intermediate Level A:
The student will be able to understand and use concepts of structure in written and oral form, and will learn 5 verb tenses.

Intermediate Level B:
It will be necessary to reinforce the knowledge the student already has and improve comprehension and use of more verb forms.

Advanced Level:
The objective is to achieve mastery in the use of all verb forms and to focus the study in the use of the subjunctive and the complex structures of Spanish.

ILERI SPANISH SCHOOL is located in Panama City, only 15 minutes away from downtown. Our host families are within walking distance of the school. In our programs we use the Total Immersion System and our emphasis is on conversation. We use the Natural Approach System and the Comunicative Method.

In our classes we learn about the language, the culture, the history and the life of our host country. We offer different activities to our students: once a week we have our famous field trip. We will have two hours of class in our campus but then we take our students to visit a tourist or cultural atttraction or a historic place.

During the afternoon, we offer: merengue, salsa and tipico dance lessons, Panamanian cooking classes and Spanish movies. On Friday we have our "Panamanian Lunch" and every day the student can enjoy our typical Panamanian coffee in our back yard.
