Spanish World Institute, Bogotá:
Spanish World Institute (SWI) is one of the most successful Spanish language schools in Colombia. Established in 2006, we offer Spanish courses to students from around the world at our school in Bogotá.

Spanish Language Courses:
- Beginner to Advanced Levels 

General Spanish Course (15, 20 or 30 lessons per week)
The General Spanish classes concentrate on improving every aspect of your Spanish, This course is focused on developing the communicative skills: listening, Spoken interaction and production, writing, grammar, vocabulary, reading and pronunciation.

The levels of the classes range from complete beginner (A1) to proficiency (C2) and you will have a placement test on your first day to find the right level for you.

Our General Spanish courses are available year-round and students can start a course on any Monday (except Bank Holidays).

Students can choose to study for 15, 20, or 30 hours per week. Students can take classes for as little as one week up to an indefinite period of time. Students must be at least 17 years old to enroll in our General Spanish courses.


DELE Exam Preparation Course:
The DELE is an official diploma issued by the Spanish Ministry of Education and Science and the Spanish Instituto Cervantes to participants who pass a standardized test indicating Spanish language proficiency. It is the main exam recognized by the Spanish Ministry of Education for those who use Spanish as a second language.

This course prepares you for the examination and also provides general training in study skills.

In class you will concentrate on practice tests-taking techniques, exam strategy for the independent and integrated tasks in the following parts of the exam: Reading; Writing; Speaking; Listening. We ensure that you are prepared for the different accents and vocabulary you will experience in the D.E.L.E. test.

Students have the option of studying DELE only for 15 hours per week or combine DELE preparation with General Spanish for 30 hours per week.

Business Spanish Course (Private / Group Classes)
Our Business Spanish course is ideal for professionals, diplomats, business students or those who require a high level of Spanish in their working life.

We recommend this course for students who are upper-intermediate - advanced (B2 - C1). However, some intermediate (B1) level students who are used to using some Spanish in their workplace often benefit greatly from the Business Spanish course. The minimum age for students on this course is 23.

This programme aims to develop those communicative skills needed in the business world. The course develops negotiation workshops, case studies and role plays in marketing, finances, and general management.

Teachers will prepare material for the class and use articles from Economist newspaper and online material to ensure your classes are up-to-date and relevant for your needs.

These are intensive courses (BS30) which can be in group or private depending on the number of students enrolled. In the morning the students develop communicative skills, while in the afternoon they focus on Spanish for business. Students have the option of studying Business Spanish only for 15 hours per week or combining Business Spanish and General Spanish for 20, 25 or 30 hours per week.


One to one  Spanish Lessons:
Private Spanish lessons are taught according to the students unique requirements. Our one-to-one Spanish courses can help you with any area of the Spanish language that you would like to improve.

They are ideal for professionals, business students or anyone who wants to improve their level of Spanish as quickly as possible.

SWI offers private Spanish classes all year round and students can begin on any weekdays (except Bank Holidays). Students can choose to study from between 1 hour per week to 15 or 20 hours per week.

The course lengths are flexible with a minimum of 1 hour. Students must be 17 years old to take our private Spanish lessons.

Online Spanish Lessons:
one-to-one online  Spanish courses can help you with any area of the Spanish language that you would like to improve.

Spanish + Colombia Cultura (30 hours per week)
In the morning classes concentrate on improving Spanish language by working in the skills Speaking, Writing, Listening or Grammar focusing in the classroom on using language in real situations and in the afternoon you will be focus on the Colombian customs and culture.


General Spanish Classes + Salsa Lessons (20 hours of Spanish classes & 6 hours of Salsa lessons)
This course teaches Spanish in the morning, classes concentrate on improving Spanish language and learn to salsa dance in the afternoon.

The salsa dance classes Syllabus is very carefully constructed. The whole series of class levels has been put together to give you a complete learning tool of different steps simply variations of them.


General Spanish Classes + Excursions:
This is a tailored course where students take Spanish classes in the mornings and have visits and excursions to tourist places in the afternoons and weekends.

Students will have 20 hours of General Spanish classes and 10 hours of excursions.

These trips are organized according to the student’s interests and request. Prices of the visits and excursions are additional to the course prices.
