"Delegación de Enseñanza del Goethe-Institut" - The Bolivian- German Cultural Institute offers its experience in teaching Spanish as a foreign language. All our teachers have extensive experience in teaching Spanish. Most of them are members of the language department of the local "Universidad Mayor Real y Pontifícia de San Francisco Xavier de Chuquisaca". They speak either English, German or French as their first foreign language.

Cultural activities of the ICBA:

Our Institute offers an extensive range of cultural activities like exhibitions, concerts, theatre, music nights, lectures... and invites to participate actively in special courses like dance evenings (Tango, Salsa, Merengue...), series of lectures, cooking in groups, meditation etc.

Our Institute works together closely with other local cultural institutions like the “Alianza Francesa”, the Fundación Cultural La Plata”, the “Centro Boliviano Americano”, the “Museo de Niños Tanga Tanga” and the "Fundación Pachamama”.

In the framework of the Cultural Festival in Sucre, the head of our Institute, Gerd Mielke, presented a monologue/pantomime “Un Informe para una Academia” following the text of the well known piece from Franz Kafka, translated, adapted and extended by the Institute.
