After completing the required number of clock hours and being accepted for examination, you will take a state and federal written exam as wel
l as a practical exam given by the Louisiana State Board of Cosmetology. After successfully completing all phases of the exam you will receive a license in the field for which you were trained. License’s must be renewed annually on your birthday.Programs
