Griggs University & International Academy:
Griggs University & International Academy is an accredited, values-based distance education and homeschool provider based just north of Washington DC in Maryland. Griggs offers both individual courses and complete programs to students from preschool through high school as well as offering university degree programs and college level courses.

Our distance learning / homeschool programs include:

Preschool:
Play to learn with Griggs International Academy’s Bible-based Preschool course. This course makes learning fun for preschoolers and is designed for a child at least 4 years of age.

This program gently builds your child’s readiness skills through play activities in language arts, math, social studies, art, music, health, and safety. The Preschool Handbook answers questions many parents raise about child development.

Kindergarten:
Parents and qualified teachers of Griggs serve as partners in the education of the child. This plan offers the following services:

• Maryland state-approved and regionally-accredited curriculum
• Parent's guides/activity sheets/tests (no answer keys for tests)
• Teaching and grading services by qualified teachers
• Assistance in advising, grading, and record keeping
• Maryland state-recognized report card
• Verification of enrollment upon request

Students may enroll for an entire grade or for individual subjects.

Grades 1-8:
Parents and qualified teachers of Griggs serve as partners in the education of the child. This plan offers the following services:

• A Maryland state-approved and regionally-accredited curriculum
• Teaching and grading services by qualified teachers
• Assistance in advising, grading, and record keeping
• Maryland state-recognized report card
• Verification of enrollment upon request

Students may enroll for an entire grade or for individual subjects.

Grades 9-12:
Our accredited plan available is at this grade level. Students can earn a State of Maryland approved high school diploma when they successfully complete their high school graduation requirements.

The Accredited Plan offers the following services:

• A Maryland state-approved and regionally-accredited curriculum 
• Teaching and grading services by qualified teachers
• Assistance in advising, grading, and record keeping
• Maryland state-recognized report card
• Verification of enrollment upon request

High School Online:
Griggs International Academy’s high school online continues to grow. Desire2Learn’s user-friendly format makes it easy for students to navigate through our courses. As of July 1, 2007, new online testing accompanies current online homework. Quick turnaround and no paper trail! The quality of Griggs International Academy’s courses remains high with an almost immediate student/teacher exchange—teachers are accessible through email or a paging/instant messaging system.

Griggs University & International Academy:
Griggs (Silver Spring, Maryland) offers an array of college-level courses that many students use as transfer credit. Whether you need to make a course up, or want to accelerate your education, consider this option in accomplishing your goal.

Griggs University:
Griggs University is the collegiate division of Griggs University / Griggs International Academy and was founded to meet the needs of international students who have no access to an Adventist campus.

It is nationally-accredited by the Accrediting Commission of the Distance Education and Training Council (DETC). Griggs University is also internationally recognized by the governments of several countries. Through it, students can earn nationally-accredited degrees in the following areas:
