How long should it take me to complete the course?
Distance Learning courses can take between two and five years, depending on how intensively you are able to study and whether or not you take breaks between modules. However, courses must be completed within a set time-frame. They are not open-ended.

Will my qualification be different than if I had attended a course on campus?
There is no difference between the qualification you receive on a distance learning course and the equivalent qualification which you might study for on campus. The certificate you receive from the University of Leicester will not mention distance learning. Employers will see no difference unless you choose to tell them.

The Association of MBAs is the global standard for all MBA degrees programmes and currently accredits programmes from the top 2% of business schools in over 70 countries. The Leicester MBA was one of the first distance learning MBAs to achieve AMBA accreditation and has held accreditation for 19 years. In addition our MSc Management and MSc International Management are now AMBA-accredited.

The School of Business also offers dual accreditation with ILM and students on our courses will also be awarded ILM's Level 4 Award in Leadership and Management, subject to passing the relevant modules.

Our BSc Economics and Accounting, BSc Accounting and Finance and BSc Accounting programmes are ACCA accredited. Students on these programmes are eligible for exemptions from professional examinations.
