The Learn New Skills From Home training group is a distance learning computer training school that specializes in helping home learners gain ECDL (European Computer Driving Licence) and ICDL (International Computer Driving Licence) qualifications online.
Advanced, Level 3, ICT (Information Communication Technology) computer qualifications are higher level competence certifications. This qualification level can help ensure potential employers that a candidate is a highly confident, competent and efficient individual when using ICT, increasing their employment opportunities significantly.
The ECDL Advanced and ICDL Advanced qualifications are ideal if you have already completed the Core ECDL or Core ICDL qualification or you already have a good level of ICT subject knowledge and want to progress your skills on to an advanced level. Gaining this certification will allow you to demonstrate your computer skills and increase your employment opportunities significantly.
The ECDL Advanced and ICDL Advanced certification covers four ICT application modules that can be taken individually or multiply, in any order. The four ICT modules (Word-Processing, Spreadsheets, Databases and Presentations) cover the main ICT application subject areas, used in today's modern workplace.
- ECDL / ICDL Advanced Word-Processing - Microsoft Office Word (2003, 2007 or 2010)
- ECDL / ICDL Advanced Spreadsheets - Microsoft Office Excel (2003, 2007 or 2010)
- ECDL / ICDL Advanced Database - Microsoft Office Access (2003, 2007 or 2010)
- ECDL / ICDL Advanced Presentations - Microsoft Office PowerPoint (2003, 2007 or 2010)
Our unique course design structure allows learners who have prior Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint) applications subject knowledge to learn their chosen advanced module (Word-Processing, Spreadsheets, Databases and Presentations) via express training.
Express training means learner's can simply and quickly identify areas in their current skills set that need additional study to gain the their qualification.
With each ECDL Advanced and ICDL Advanced module that a learner successfully passes they will receive an individual advanced certificate. If a learner passes all four advanced modules they can apply for an additional Expert Certification at no extra cost.
The ECDL Advanced and ICDL Advanced tests are made up of twenty questions and each question is worth five points (percent), candidates need to achieve a pass mark of 75 points (percent) within a one hour time period to achieve the qualification.
