The Palazzo Zenobio is an old palazzo and offers large and inspiring rooms as well as a big park in the courtyard. The palazzo is situated at a canal and the rooms face either the canal or the private park. The courses and workshops take place in the large rooms of the palazzo, in the private park and the city of Venice as well as in the lagoon.

Equipment and Infrastructure
Permanent infrastructure like easels, technical equipment as far as it is not individual for film and photography etc. are provided by the Summer Academy. Individual equipment such as camera, laptop etc. you should bring with you. Colors, canvas and other materials we will need to use, you may bring with you or buy at the Palazzo.
The Summer Academy Venice takes place in the Palazzo Zenobio which is a grand Renaissance Palace in the middle of Venice, with a huge garden.

3rd June – 1st September 2020The School for Curatorial Studies is an ambitious and challenging project promoted since 2004 and conceived as a school committed to experimentation and interdisciplinary thinking. The main goals are to spread the knowledge in the field of visual arts and to introduce the students to the professions related to the art world, focusing on contemporary curatorial theory and practice and contemporary museology. The School’s activities are meant for all those interested and passionate in art, graduated students or professionals who want to deepen their knowledge and improve their practical skills.
The School’s teaching staff is formed by Italian and international professionals, scholars, historians and art critics of recognized experience. Among them: Matt Williams (curator), Filippo Lotti (Sotheby’s), Chiara Barbieri (Peggy Guggenheim Collection), Francesca Colasante (Pinault Collection), Andrea Goffo (Found. Prada), Nicola Lees (Serpentine London).

Located in the heart of the historic city of Florence, The Florence Art Studio provides intensive art programs taught in English to international students from around the world. We offer customized courses that aim to teach the fundamentals of drawing and painting from life. Choose to study for 1, 2, 3, or 4 weeks or longer.
Our programs can be divided into six discrete and sequentially progressive modules, each of which can be studied from one week to one month or longer. Alternatively, each module can be taken as a stand-alone course.
