We offer our students a unique perspective on the city of Venice thanks to our network of professionals (architects, designers, artists, gallerists, and La Biennale di Venezia team), we guide them in discovering the hidden gems of the city and give them access to the most exclusive art shows and events.

About the European Cultural Academy:

For more than a decade we have helped creative communities to increase visibility, build connections and make a lasting impact on their careers. 

Our distinguished faculty includes artists, designers, curators, gallerists, architects and scholars that will help you to build necessary skills and enable you to navigate through an opaque and very competitive industry. Every group is led by very qualified and internationally acknowledged professionals. Students learn from curators, commissioners, press-managers, and artists.

Prominent professors in History of Art, Architecture and Curatorial Management are invited to complete the curriculum and ensure a solid academic component.

The Florence Art Studio
Courses / Programs
Located in the heart of the historic city of Florence, The Florence Art Studio provides intensive art programs taught in English to international students from around the world. We offer customized courses that aim to teach the fundamentals of drawing and painting from life.

Choose to study for 1, 2, 3, or 4 weeks or longer.

Our programs can be divided into six discrete and sequentially progressive modules, each of which can be studied from one week to one month or longer. Alternatively, each module can be taken as a stand-alone course.

The majority of our students are adult professionals of all backgrounds and levels - from complete beginner to advanced - who are passionate about Florence, Renaissance, Painting and Drawing.

Students work within a structured environment, under the guidance of an instructor who personally monitors their progress and development for three hours a day, and the remaining time is structured with other activity.

Short workshops throughout the summer: Watercolor, Fresco, Still life, Oil Painting, fine arts exam preparation, painting & drawing workshops for those on holiday / vacation in Florence & more.

The Studio is situated on Via Ghibellina, only a few steps from the main historic and artistic places of interest in the center of the city.
Intensive Art Program:
- Taught in English, Duration 1-4 weeks

Program of academic training divided into six separate modules covering life drawing & painting skills, each serving as the foundation for the next.

Alternatively, you can choose to take any module as a stand-alone course, from one week to a month or longer.

Messors Workshops - Cultural Heritage Conservation and Restoration in Italy
Courses / Programs
Messors Workshops offers 15-day summer Art Conservation Workshops on Fresco and Canvas, based in the rich cultural and historical setting of Altamura, Gravina in Puglia and Matera, in Southern Italy.  We are 27 miles southwest of Bari (airport BRI).

The Frescoes are part of the rupestrian settlements (underground habitations) located in the Alta Murgia area in the Puglia region of Italy. Private collections provide canvases.

Under tutelage of program director Tonio Creanza participants are introduced to principles and methodology for the conservation of frescoes and paintings on canvas, experiencing the process of restoration as it unfolds.

Participants will also review the completed and restored works of past projects: 17th-century wood statues, decorative paintings and stone reliefs, exterior and interior frescoes, and paintings in both private collections.
Art Conservation Summer Programs:

The courses provide a practical focus, allowing students ample opportunity for participation in restoration technique, and are complemented by seminars in Art History, Geomorphological Studies and Iconography.

Web Technology Academy, Florence
Courses / Programs
Located in the heart of Florence, Italy, Web Technology Academy (WTA) is a fast-paced, 4-week study-abroad summer program designed to help students learn the art of eCommerce. All classes are taught in English. WTA offers three main course topics over four intensive weeks; Choosing products and services to sell online, Build your own e-commerce business from start to finish, and Advertising your website and making money online.

At Web Tech Bootcamp, we believe students learn better when they have real world projects and a limited amount of time to complete them. At the end of four weeks, hard-working students will have the knowledge to take the first step toward financial independence through their own eCommerce business.
