Intensive English Courses for Academic Purposes / University Preparation: 

Vocabulary, Grammar, Structure:
The focus of this seminar is the development of lexical knowledge and essential grammar and sentence structure skills.

Reading, Listening, Critical Thinking:
Students develop reading, listening, and lecture note-taking skills through the use of authentic and adapted academic lecture materials.

Presentation Skills:
Students learn and practice the skills involved in public speaking and presentations. The focus is on making coherent, organized academic presentations and developing persuasive language for effective seminar leadership.

English Composition and Rhetoric:
University students who are not native speakers of English often find the written demands of their courses at English language universities to be very challenging. This seminar targets the aspects of English rhetoric and composition that are most important for university study abroad.

Our intensive academic English/university preparation courses begin on the first Monday of every month. Tuition, including accommodation and study materials, for each 120 hour, 4 week session is $1400. USD  Of course, if you wish you may opt to continue studying for 2 or more months.  


Cambridge English Examination Preparation Seminars

These seminars are held continuously throughout the year, so you can begin at any time that is convenient. Each single level preparation session is 4 weeks (120 hours) long. Tuition including accommodation and study materials is $1400 USD.
