English Everest Online School:
Welcome to English Everest. Based in The Philippines, we are an independent online school which provides English language instruction. We are a small company formed by experienced classroom and campus teachers looking to provide an alternative to classroom based learning. We offer predominantly lessons using SKYPE, and also offer lessons using other platforms such as LINE, WeChat, Viber, KakaoTalk, Google Hangouts, and Apple FaceTime. All of these platforms may not be available from all teachers, but we do our best to offer these services where we can.
Our mission is to take the fear out of learning English. You have already learnt at least one language (your native language), so don't be afraid to learn another language.Learning languages takes time. We are also there to help you through the difficult times, and offer our support and encouragement.
As the head of the company, I am a TEFL certified teacher, with Accrediations in Cambridge FCE, CAE, Grammar Awareness, and IELTS exam preparation.
I was also a former TEFL teacher lead trainer for a company named EBC (Spain) which is a TEFL teacher training company.
I have been a teacher for 10 years and have taught students from over 40 countries. This experience has taught me to appreciate the task students are taking on when they decide to begin English. or improve their English.
All teachers who work in the company are thoroughly checked, and tested to ensure they meet our high standards. Both native and non-native teachers are available.
All teachers have at least 5 years teaching experience including classroom and and online. We also believe that teachers should have a passion for teaching and the ability to establish a good rapport with their students.
We provide only online classes. We do not operate from a campus. This enables us to offer more competitive prices
The type of classes we provide cover:
- Exam preparation for IELTS, TOEFL, Cambridge FCE, CAE, CPE.
- Business English, including job related topics and vocabulary.
- General English which covers, Grammar, reading, speaking, listening, vocabulary, pronunciation.
- Writing correction courses or single correspondence.
We are also open to student requests for things not listed above.
Our classes are current on a One-2-One basis, but can be adjusted for 2-1, 3-1. Just make a request and we will do our best to accommodate you.
I also have an website which provides a portfolio of my skills, experience and teaching philosophy. This is provided on contact request.
We offer a integrated booking system where you can choose your schedule and your teacher, and also add any requests for any type of study you would like to focus on. The booking platform is time integrated, so all classes appear in your local time and at the same time in the teacher's time. No need to worry about time differences.
We also cater for additional application platforms such as: SKYPE(our regular platform), LINE, WeChat, Viber, FaceTime, Google Hangouts, KakaoTalk. Any other platforms can be requested, and we will try to provide them.
