Practical Nursing Certificate (LPN)
An Associate of Applied Science Degree is available with additional courses. New students are admitted to the Practical Nursing (LPN) program two times per year.

Associate of Applied Science Degree in Practical Nursing (LPN)
The Associate of Applied Science degree in Practical Nursing provides a more liberalized education than the certificate program and is structured so that students completing some NSCC Health & Medical certificates can apply 45 - 60 credits from the certificate toward the degree. Many employers view the AAS degree as a sign of increased competence and readiness for career or salary advancement.

The Nursing AAS-T degree is intended to help the current LPN advance to RN. Program admission is limited to students who have already completed a minimum of 35 credits from an accredited Practical Nursing program.

There are a very limited number of spaces in the LPN to RN Ladder program open to the community at this time due to current LPN students being offered a direct transition to the LPN to RN Ladder program.
