The College Of Nursing at The University of North Dakota offers a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree (BSN). BSN level graduates are employed in community based nursing (home health, hospice, school nurse, public health nurse, mental health nurse) and hospital nursing (pediatrics, obstetrics, labor and delivery, intensive care, emergency room, cardiac care, surgery, general medical, psychiatric, and oncology, to name a few).

This is a degree which offers many choices of work settings and patient populations. Nursing is also a "hands on" major, with laboratory, clinical simulation, and clinical experiences incororated into the program, in addition to the theory content.

The on-campus and distance nursing degree programs offered by UND College of Nursing are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).
