Bordeaux International Wine Institute:
Bordeaux International Wine Institute (BIWI), located in Bordeaux, France, is a school dedicated to the sale and marketing of wines and spirits offering the Master in Wine Marketing and Management Degree Program. The objective of this masters degree program is to equip the students with the business and technical skills in order to work as highly qualified executives in the wine sector. BIWI is a member of the INSEEC Group. All the courses are taught in English. Bordeaux is situated 300 miles south west of Paris.
The market for wine and spirits is going global. Today the wines of France and of other big European producers (especially Spain and Italy) compete against wines from new territories in the world. At the same time, world consumption is always increasing. The largest increases are to be found in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Germany, whereas Scandinavia, Russia, and certain countries in Asia will supply new consumers.
To respond to new expectations and the current climate, INSEEC-Bordeaux, with its network of alumni and the advice of experts in the field, has decided to create the Bordeaux International Wine Institute. The curriculum will revolve around three principle axes: professional, international, and technical.
International Students:
This program, with a strong international orientation (all the courses are taught in English) welcomes students from diverse milieux (commerce, universities, engineering, etc.) as well as professionals from the world of viticulture. Each year, the Master Wine Marketing & Management greets students from five continents.
The INSEEC Group:
The INSEEC Group, a member of CampusFrance, constantly seeks partnerships with schools and universities outside France (having established more than one hundred so far) and thus can offer students a truly multicultural and multilingual education. The community of foreign students, very active on all 3 campuses, includes almost three hundred students and 20 nationalities. The group's striving for internationalism carries over to the Bordeaux Wine Institute, a third of whose students are foreign.

Location:
Bordeaux International Wine Institute (BIWI) is located in Bordeaux, 300 miles from Paris in southwest France. The Chartrons quarter offers students a real urban campus, near the Garonne, at the heart of a historic neighborhood. Bordeaux is connected to Paris by the A10 motorway, Lyon by the A89, Toulouse by the A62, and Spain by the A63. The main railway station, Gare de Bordeaux Saint-Jean is located near the centre of the city. The TGV (high speed train) gets to Paris in three hours, with other connections to major European centres such as Lille, Brussels, Cologne, Amsterdam, Geneva and London.
