The Canadian College is a large private college that is located at the heart of Downtown Vancouver. Established in 2008, we offer several internationaly recognized Certificates and Diplomas in Business Management and Hospitality Operations. International students can receive paid work in Canada by taking the Hospitality Operations Diploma Co-op or the Business Management Diploma Co-op.

Admission Requirements
- High School Diploma, High School Completion Certificate, or equivalent.
- TOEFL 530, iBT 70, or IELTS 5.5 or TOEIC 750 or
- Completion of Upper Intermediate Level 5 at Canadian College of English Language.
- Must demonstrate a high intermediate level of English by completing our on-line assessment test.
Note: Students who do not meet any of the above requirements may be offered conditional acceptance subject to availability, and/or asked to take an the English Proficiency Test at Canadian College. Part time ESL training at CCEL may be required depending upon test result.
First Day
On their first day, new students must be at school by 9:00am. The orientation and testing schedule will depend on the volume of students and/or program’s itinerary for that day.
Students must bring the following to school on their first day: Pen, Notepad, Dictionary(optional), Passport and Medical Insurance Document. (Please note that if student doesn’t have medical insurance, the school can provide one at $25/week).
Canadian College is conveniently located within one block of Robson Street, Bus/Skytrain Station, 7-11, Major Banks etc. It has unique and renovated classrooms, with a capacity of 300 students in total. Classrooms are located on the 2nd floor and offices on the 4th floor. Students can enjoy the large rooftop garden on the 5th floor.
Facilities at School
Computer Labs: 10 computers free of charge for CCEL students. High speed wireless internet service free of charge. Variety of language options.
Other Facilities: Student Restaurant & Pub "eh! restaurant". Lunch & Rest areas throughout the school, Big Screen TV, Microwaves, Public Phones, Student Counselling Room, and Wheelchair friendly access.

Distance Between Airport and School: 25 minutes by taxi; 40-min by airport bus
There are various accommodation options available to our students. Canadian College has an In-house full-time homestay &
accommodation coordinator.
Homestay
The families selected to host our students are long-term, safe, middle / upper class families. Most of them are conveniently located in the prestigious West and North Vancouver areas. Families are interviewed up to twice a year and screened for quality of service provided to our students.
Meals per week: 14 meals (half-board) or 21-meals (full-board)
Transportation to/from School: Average 30-40 minutes to School, depending on traffic and location of homestay
Nearest Major Station from School: Burrard Station (bus terminal/subway station). 2 minutes walk.
Average Cost of Public Transportation (valid for bus, skytrain and seabus): One way ticket CAD$2.50 ~ $3.50. Monthly passes are available.
Cost for extra night at homestay: Average Can$30-45, depending on room and meal type
Canadian College/CCEL Student Residence
The Canadian College Student Residence /Apartments are excellent furnished apartments in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
Rooms: Each unit in the Residence has single and double rooms with shared bathroom and kitchen. Boys and girls are placed separately by units. Minimum stay of 4 weeks.
Location: The apartments are located in downtown Vancouver, next to world famous Stanley Park and is on trendy Robson Street, fantastic restaurants, interesting shops and quaint boutiques.
Amenities: coin laundry, pool table, free wireless internet, cable TV, equipped kitchen, spacious rooms, beds, closets, desks, chairs, sofas, heat, gas and hydro. Walking distance to school: 10 minutes.
