The College has been designed to mirror a 'real' work environment.

The layout of our facilities and resources has been planned to provide a flexible, stimulating and industry-focused environment for you to learn in.

Practical training and assessments are carried out in the ground floor Salon, Nail Bar and Retail areas. These are open to the public six days a week, offering the opportunity for continuous assessment.

The benefits are obvious - you gain real work experience, a greater understanding of both customer care and professional management systems.

Our fully equipped, luxurious Salon is the largest in London. It replicates a commercial salon and working within it allows you to gain skills in a 'real life' environment. You will meet and engage with the public on a daily basis and achieve industry speeds and standards using the latest techniques and equipment.

Realistic Work Environment:
Assessment of competency, for the NVQ qualification, has to be done on a member of the public, within a realistic work environment. Our commercial salon, with a register of over 5,000 loyal clients, allows LCBT to provide this continuous assessment.

We train you using a wide range of equipment and products. This ensures your experience mirrors the variety of tools and techniques you will face when you start work.

Working on ‘real’ clients in a 'real' work environment is the best form of training. We can provide you with this facility throughout your time with us.

At the Retail area of LCBT where you will develop the confidence to advise clients on the correct product and aftercare use, which is an essential part of working in the industry.

Clients will expect you to be able to diagnose their needs and sell to them confidently. The training you receive will enable you to gain this confidence and provide this important service.

We offer Workshops such as Health & Safety; The Law and How Regulations will Affect your Business; Promote Additional Products & Services to Clients; Develop & Maintain your Effectiveness at Work. We also provide short courses in Epilation; Massage; Waxing Techniques; Fashion Makeup; Thermo Stone Therapy; Manicures and Pedicures and other topics.
