Alexandria Institute:
Situated in the Nea Ionia area, just 20 minutes north of central Athens, Alexandria Institute provides Greek language courses for beginner to advanced level students. Alexandria Institute also organises Greek language and culture courses in Andros, Paros, Chios, Methoni, and Lesvos as well as on-line lessons via Skype.
• Our lessons involve activities which facilitate the learning and improvement of all the components of a language, particularly, producing and comprehending written and oral speech.

Qualified & Experienced Teachers:
Our teachers are all native Greek speakers who have graduated in philology, are qualified and have experience of teaching Greek as a foreign language; their great enthusiasm for their work is passed on to their students.
The Institute’s work involves promoting Ancient and Modern Greek language and culture, as well as participating in digitisation and documentation projects.
As a group of young researchers, we share a passion for humanities and thus our aim is to pour all our energy into researching, studying and promoting the Greek language and culture, and philological, historical and archaeological research.

The Hellenic Culture Centre situated in Athens is a language institution aiming to promote Greek language and culture within the framework of a multicultural society. The Hellenic American Union in Thessaloniki & Athens, Greece, is a public-service institution with an international focus and strong community commitment, dedicated to providing opportunities for a diverse range of audiences to encounter and benefit from innovative educational programs and cultural events. The Modern Greek Language Program has been offering courses in Modern Greek to foreign students in Athens since 1957. Lord Byron Schools of Languages provides year-round modern Greek language courses in our city centre school in Thessaloniki in Central Macedonia in Northern Greece, approximately 515 km (320 miles) north of Athens. We offer special tailor-made courses in Greek for specific purposes, activities and entertainment during the week, excursions and visits on a weekly basis and much more. We also have an international summer school in Gerakini and Ouranoupoli, Chalkidiki in West Macedonia in Northern Greece. From Thessaloniki, Gerakini is 80 km (50 miles) and Ouranoupoli is 140 km (87 miles). Our summer school runs during the holidays with 4 or 5 hours Greek language tuition per day. All our teachers are highly experienced, hold university degrees and are bilingual.
Thessaloniki's international airport Macedonia is approximately 15 km (9 miles) south of the city centre, with direct connections to many national and international destinations.
